< Saga (different ending) by Tihon Tibor : Slipping Away by Tihon Tibor >
This was the last track I made with my old music-making tool, Impulse Tracker. The music is composed by me, but Brandon liked it and added some guitars on it, so all the guitars are his, and that's why it's a "guitar remix".
In fact, I'm currently about to finish my new version of this track, with the latest technology I've got now, as Shoal is one of my favourite tracks of my own. It sounds far better now.
BTW, it's part of the 'Marine' project along with Fish-Dance, Underwater Bell and other tracks I've not posted yet.
Thanks for your comments! :)

I have no time for it nowadays but be patient, it might be ready this year. :) I don't promise anything though.

Possible correction to the title that DC posted here at lyricless.com - the ID3 tag for this track says it's by Tihon Tibor & Brandon Blume. Is this correct? Also, it's a "guitar remix", not just a "remix".
This track has a fairly ambient feel and wouldn't be out of place on Secret of Mana. In fact it sounds like it might fit nicely on the "Light" disc of Light & Shade by Mike Oldfield. It's very Oldfield-esque.
I love the first 30 seconds with the bass, the guitar, and the various other instruments coming in. Really, really nice. About 50 seconds in, the guitar melody is very enjoyable. However, after 1 minute, it seems to return to the theme with little variation.
The percussion adds to the piece, but while it is good, the music really doesn't seem to go anywhere. 2 minutes in and the guitar gets interesting again, and at 2:30 it sounds like the piece is approaching a climax... which it reaches, sort of, but it falls away back to the original theme.
I feel as though this is a missed opportunity - it's got some excellent music in it, but needs more development. Still, I do like it.
